Anyone wanting to study Tao should not listen to this man! Taoism is NOT a religion, don't let anybody fool you! Read the Tao Te Ching, and you will see that the word "god" or "spirit" or "afterlife" NEVER appear! Later generations, after Lao Tzu, have corrupted his teachings and turned them into a religion and uses some verses they think support some kind of spiritual belief. It is wrong.

@atillawith Taoism was not founded as a religion by it’s creator, Lao Tzu. His writings were never intended to work that way. If you actually read the Tao Te Ching, there is absolutely no mention of a god or gods, nor anything supernatural.

Taoism is not about following priests, it’s about living your own life in accordance with the world and the universe. It’s basically a way of life, a philosophy. The Tao is a symbol for everything, whatever that everything may be

Here they corrupted taoism into new age horse shit. You may not agree with everything his lineage teaches and to tell you the truth i don't either but what he teaches is actual taoism.

You guys should not judge this man so harshly, Do you know he is in his 60's ? If you read the book "The Truth of Tao," you will find out that it is very bare bones taoism and not commercial at all. Definitely not for the faint of heart.
