Fab!
Congrats on your Jimmy. I would be lookin for a 302 for that thing. ;) Yes, I have been running premium gas because the compression is a little higher than stock. (Shaved Head) She does take a little time to warm up on cold mornings, but they are kinda rare here in Florida. :)

Nice truck, how do you like the pertronix ignition?

Pertronix works great. Easy to install and keeps the original look as it hides under the old distibutor cap.

what kind of gas mileage are you getting with this?

I drove this truck from Denver to Atlanta and averaged 18 mpg on the highway. I get about 14 or 15 around town. Thanks

That stovebolt 6 sounds awesome. Did you update it to a full pressure oiling system from the stock spalsh lube? It looks like the T-5 and rear gears make the truck pretty quick. Its nice to see someone hot-rodding the stovebolt- most people dont realize that its a valve in head design and more durable than the flathead v8 ford used at the time.

It's a 1957 full pressure 235. Not original but looks like it. Next is a dual carb intake manifold, 2 carter carbs and a set of fenton headers. Thanks for the kind comments.
