you can change the flow rate for insulin delivery to slow and you can also do a combo bolus if it is too fast.

Can you elaborate more on the ping remote being "way off"? I really enjoyed seeing the older pumps and hearing your opinions. (you might want to not chew gum on your next vlog)

Thanks so much for your post. I was told by Smith's they are discontinuing the Cozmo and so tried the Omnipod, but am not liking it. I am leaning now toward the Ping, but I'm wondering how BIG it is??? It seems huge. And heavy. I understand that Animas makes the cartridges for the Cozmo, but I can't seem to find the Cleo sets. I really like them... I'm so bummed. Why didn't Smith's just sell it to Animas or something?? I think we should protest or something. Grr.
My 3rd party supplier still carries Cleos, if your insurance will cover it through them you can check out Medco. Good luck w/everything.
E: well, thanks, now that I don't have strep I hope I look (and sound) even better...lol I had strep when I made this.

Dogstar: Thanks, I'll keep that in mind.
Carriecz: Yes, the ping is big, but its not all that heavy. Its about the same size as a the actual pump, I think. I guess its gotta be big because of all the info(food databases) and such in it..you don't have to carry it everywhere, get a mini and just use that there is software that can corrolate other One Touch meters to that of the ping.(if you want)
