@MrXnews It's amazing how much time they spent on what in retrospect seems unimportant things, but they wanted their labels to look good--so many interesting dimensions to this that I'd never delved into! Thanks!

Nothing like transitional "Magic Tone"/"Magic Note" Columbia labels--like I said in another comment, the bottom credit, typefaces, and layout changed. Interesting how a similar layout was used for the 1925-1939 Viva~Tonal label.
