This tutorial will simply teach you how to perform simple Math Operations in Visual Basic 2008. It is proably the most boring part of the language, but once you have mastered the simple parts of the language you can move on to the more interesting and advanced ones.

  • This app will caclulate the total of a vehicle with tax and options selected. I have no idea where to start or how to set the IF and THEN statements for the text box to include the option in the total amount of the vehicle. if you have any help or can guide me through this that would be awesome... if not, no problem, I will go through your videos to see if i can pick up some of your examples.

  • I will be going through your tutorials to see if I can pick up the commands for creating the apps required for my class assignments. I am very new to this and I have 0 experience in programming, however, I can learn very quickly and I really think I can pick up VB smoothly with the right guidance. I am currently working on a simple app the has 3 check boxes that are Car accessories.. For instance check box 1 is leather, check box 2 is navigation, etc.
