Whenever I see Ken, I ask him to perform this - it, and he, are great. And the song says more about what we are, and are not, than people realize. Wide chasm between promise and execution in our pretense about humanity and liberty.

From the hell that was Ireland in "48 *1848) a poignant song>

Ken, Good on you for singing this song, Please credit Robert Emmet Dunlap from South Boston, Massachusetts as the writer when you sing it again

I lived in Fredericksburg. To walk the Stone Wall on Sunken Road and understand what actually transpired there is breath-taking. Burnside deserved to lose his command for sending his men against that wall...and for allowing them to do what they did to the town of Fredericksburg.
God bless Robert E. Lee.

I'm not a musician. Can you tell me what "killing a bug" means?

Not to argue, but I don't see any references on this vid to Garryowen being a person. It's an old Irish song, which became a favorite of the American cavalry via Custer. According to what I can find, the place is named after the song, not the other way round.
he does not kill a bug, he hits his tune pedal to turn on the guitar amp. He is a walking history lesson, you would love this guy and walk out with a real education on irish history..check out his website and thanks for visiting...
