Juvenile zebrafish at 72-96 hours. Video moves around different parts of the zebrafish body to look at specific organs such as the heart and gut.

  • @sinseq If you plan to use a camera directly through the eyepiece, I recommend protecting your lens with a UV or other minimally colored filter. That way, the lens itself never touches the eyepiece, just the filter, which can be purchased cheaply.

  • @sinseq Some video footage was taken using a university dissecting microscope and others were taken using a low magnification under a compound microscope, both with external illumination in the form of a snake light. For the photography itself, I did NOT use any special equipment, just my Canon EOS T2i and just using the kit lens with manual focus in Av mode (aperture priority), with the lens pressed directly against the objective, I was able to obtain these image, holding my hands very still.
