Look how much plot they managed to get out of such an inconsequential chapter. This had the potential to be a long and prosperous anime with plenty of character development. What they could do with the characters and when to kill them off could have been done very smoothly thanks to the freedom the game provided.

@CalculusWhiz It was probably Rena who was being cut down by the bandits in Navarre's dream. This would go in hand with the fact that Navarre chose not to kill her for a possible reason of romantic affection, which is consistent with their characteristic archetypes seen in other installments of the series.

Sound desynchs, but I guess something this old can't be helped.
I just really wish Nintendo would make a new anime for Fire Emblem. With Shadow Dragon and New Mystery of the Emblem, this seems like the perfect time.
Why did this not progress past two episodes anyways?
