When my parents married after WW2, they managed to obtain an asthmatic 1928 Austin 7 soft top for the then huge sum of 100 pounds NZ.. I'm told it was so far gone, even then, that its cruising speed was 22mph. Its name was Edgar.
Thanks for showing what Edgar might have looked like in his prime!
After Edgar, in 1950, came a Jowett Bradford, but that's another story!

Old Austins never die. Some fool keeps repairing them! I know, I'm one more fool. Looks very good restoration.

yeah, its the original engine. its all finished now. it won a prize for the best showroom for the club!! will have to get a more recent video of it up
