shysterlicous, you can use the GOLDEN Archival Varnish and the base product called GOLDEN MSA Varnish on acrylic AND oil paintings. You should allow the oil paints to properly cure before using any varnish, but these varnishes work well over a variety of media. - GOLDEN

Am I to assume that this is for acrylic paint and NOT to be used on oils?

Another big thanks for more tips. I would never have known about these if not for this video. Where else can we get more product information besides the internet (workshops, etc.)? There doesn't seem to be any around my area.

One sources is definitely our website. Try both the Technical Info and Application areas. There is also a listing of workshops and classes under Working Artists. If you don't see one nearby, let them know by clicking on Program Contact. Lastly, a few great books to check out:
Acrylic Revolution by Nancy Reyner
Rethinking Acrylic by Patti Brady
and several by Chris Cozens on mixed media and image transfers.
All focus on Golden products by people associated with our Working Artist Program.

Thank you for the tips ...and the rotating spray nozzle, I don't use sprays much and have never seen that- is that your idea? It is genius.... Kit Cali

Hi Kit -
You're very welcome! And while the rotating tip was not our idea in the sense of inventing it, it was definitely a feature we went searching for when deciding which type of tip to use.
