  • A lot of ill informed comments as usual from the armchair warriors. I'd like to acknowledge the heroism of the guy or girl who went in to rescue him. More guts than me that's for sure. OK so we all do stupid things at times - learn from it.

  • This Shows the importance of having a tight crew when doing aventure sports.

  • Spooky!

  • Experienced river rats know enough to swim to the bottom with the current and get flushed out.

Panic and you cease to think or act clearly.

To boof, or not to boof, that is the question.

  • nice choice of music :)

  • I wonder if these guys ever heard of setting Safety before, dude is lucky to be alive and the other dude saved his life, but with proper set Safety that would have been oh so much of a quicker rescue, like someone else said the first guy would of been out of there in under 30 seconds, with that said also why was he throwing his paddle away for that drop? it was barely 8 ft I have a 5 meter (15ft) waterfall I run pretty regularly and have never had to throw my paddle.

  • learn to how to run drops properly

  • Learn to hand roll. Big crew made the difference here though.

  • worst waterfall to do stupid stuff likethat lol, he should've seen that coming

  • @khallig The guys being recirculated didn't have time to catch a rope. His head was above water for one second or less. You need a solid two or three seconds at minimum to catch a rope.

  • these guys act really stupid. i am a whitewater kayker and i would have rescued him in less than 30 seconds.

  • Ok, the many lines tossed in, good idea. the boat that went in and got pulled under, ok idea..... not the best execution. Otherwise, from another boaters perspective, good to see you blanket the drop zone with lines, if he came up floundering and swinging his arms, he had a good chance of grabbing a line.

I really like the guy on the fixed rope. He has great vision on the drop and no chance of being pulled off his position.
