like previous viewers have posted before, not all of these images were of Wilkes county. And I really hope that we don't become some big metropolitan area, I love the small, countryish feel that it has and used to have.

I live in Wilkes and and trust me when I say that it is nowhere near as nice as these pics and on top of that there is not shit to do besides eat go to work eat go back to work go home have sex watch tv eat have sex and go to bed. I have watched all of these little wilkes videos and I must say that they make me sick. They make it look like all the people that live here are little banjo picking hicks and thats a load of crap. If anything most of them are druggies. I want out but I cant go yet. :(

shouldn't a video entitled wilkes county have images exclusively of Wilkes County. As nice as the pictures are, they are mostly of areas outside of wilkes county.

To each its own. Personally, I like beautiful mountains, God loving neighbors and old values. Nothing wrong with southern accents and the simple life. But puppy killing District Attorneys, who put Politics and in front of Justice?

I have to say as a native on N.C.

I love Wilkes County, along with many, many surrounding Counties. That's the reason I follow whats going on, and spread the word when something is wrong. Wilkes County is not a bad a place to live, but it's being ruined by politics as many of the small towns are. Look into what I have posted and you will see, this is a warning of what is to come. Beware Fred Bauer and the incorportation, and idustrial complex. Yes you get 400 jobs, but the loss is much greater.

Well, well, isn't that ironic, two days after the post Wilkes county commissioners approved a high security prison to be built. Say goodbye to the country life and hello to city politics and injustice. This is bull were losing our land and freedom.

His name is Fred Bauer, he left Forsyth County because they would not let him try some cases. I know for a fact he has had court documents altered, including trial transcripts to cover up the perjury he influenced from witnesses. It appears he's too corrupt for Forsyth but enough for Wilkes.
