Today, we will be touring a wonderful fully furnished one-bedroom apartment located on Rue Cujas, which is found between the Luxembourg neighborhood and the Latin Quarter in Paris.

This apartment is well equipped and ideal to have as a home base while in Paris. It is found on the 3rd floor (4th floor in the US) of a nice elevator building. Upon entering, the hallway to the right will lead you to the living room and kitchen area.

The living room has several windows offering a great view of La Sorbonne University and allowing plenty of natural light to enter the apartment. It is furnished with a sofa bed, chairs, a coffee table, a TV with a DVD player, a desk with a laptop, and a dining between the living room and the kitchen areas.

Wireless Internet is accessible throughout the apartment, allowing you to browse the web on the laptop which is at your disposal, and there is also a gas fireplace, which brings a warm atmosphere to this nicely decorated living room.

The kitchen has a large countertop and everything necessary to prepare meals during your stay in Paris. It comes fully equipped with a refrigerator, a stove top, an oven and microwave combo unit, a coffee maker, and even a dishwasher.

In the hallway, you will also find a washer and a dryer for your convenience, as well as some closet space to hang your clothes and store your belongings.

The bedroom, which is furnished with a double-sized bed, has a view of the small garden. You will also find a phone, a TV with many channels to choose from, a dresser, and a closet.

The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub with a shower, a sink, a mirror, and some storage space.

As we mentioned it above, this furnished apartment is found in the Luxembourg Garden -- Latin Quarter area.

Founded in the 13th century, La Sorbonne University has welcomed students from all around the world, who used Latin as their common language to communicate, which gave its name to the Latin Quarter.

The Pantheon, with its "Tomb of Great Men" where Victor Hugo was laid to rest among other emblematic figures, was commissioned by King Louis XV in 1755.

The Musée du Moyen-Age and the Hôtel de Cluny date back to the end of the 15th century and are the testament of the seigniorial life of the middle-age.

The Luxembourg Garden, which started its transformation in 1612, is one of the most beautiful gardens in Paris. With its 23 acres, it attracts many people and is the favorite of many Parisians, students and tourists alike.
