The channel tunnel fire has caused extensive damage to the north tunnel, it will remain out of service for many weeks.

My Dad was on duty at the channel tunnel fire station when it happened, He said it was one of the most scary fires he had been to : /

@kaioxygen Thats because in europe (including ireland) you go north on the right side and south on the left. I think they switch positions aroung the middle of the tunnel.

Of course there is no link with 9/11 get over yourself. No offence to anyone who has lost someone in those attacks but stop using them as an explanation for everything!! London was bombed on 7/7 are we still dragging it up everytime somthing bad happens??? errm NO. We rebuilt..fixed up and showed that we would not be defeated by terrorists.
PS: If NYC is 5 hours behind and the WTC attacks were at 8.45 then that means its only 1.45 not 2.00 GMT.

at 0:33 i think you got it wrong one of the tunnels is for the eurostar and the other for the train which transports vehicles.

come on dude, what heppened on the 11th of september is tragic, but don't link everything with it. Not all crashes are the result of terrorist actions.

You are correct, the attack on the World Trade Centre happened on September 11th at 8.45am "Eastern Time" (see Wilkepedia for full details). Eastern Time runs 5 hours behind GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) which means the time of the attack on the Twin Towers according to GMT would have been 2.00pm.
