  • :( Cannot locate the donated items ? This happen alot ? Not Good :(

  • @gtrpkr1 :( Maybe OHCEditor will make a Comment on that one..

  • @SpikenAL I had a friend who was raised on a farm on the buffalo R in Ark.They saved the creme la creme artifacts one of which was a large scottsbluff. They donated them to a museum. They have never been displayed and repeated calls cannot locate the donated items.

  • @gtrpkr1 Just something i read :) ~ The author knows of many other amateurs who have collected these sites but have been unwilling at present to share information on where and what they have recovered. This unwillingness is, unfortunately, the result of the present climate of fear that exists among amateurs that their collections would be confiscated by state officials if the artifacts are documented. Hopefully this roadblock can be removed and this information could be included

  • @SpikenAL ...Not related to Dr Spaulding at all.I had a friend who worked his way through college at Branson,Mo.He worked a part time job at Ralph Foster Musuem. He said there was boxes upon boxes of artifacts in the basement. In this museum in particular.Whos to say how many they own you dont see?I have know 2 archeologists. You ought to see their collections.Hmmm Wonder how they got them?Huntin on the side?let these guys catch pickin up artifacts on Corps lands and see how frindly they are!Fines
