  • I heard that this was one of the first stations to differentiate from the "waffle" designs that are seen in some of the other subway stations. I actually visited this region when I last was in DC (well, not exactly that region, but close to it).

  • Yes, the reason they didn't use the waffle design in this station is because it is so deep it was too hard to transport each piece, so they prefabricated larger sections. they use this design in all the deeper stations

  • nice

  • Thank you!

  • The escalator entrance is about a block or so north of the escalator entrance. At the moment, the lower and much longer escalator is not operating going down. Who knows how many steps you have to walk down. It seems endless.

  • The comment under me is retarded thats adams morgan one of the coolest areas in dc he must be living in a gated community in the middle of nowhere

  • BE CAREFUL IN THAT AREA.ITS A BAD PLACE

  • Rosslyn is one of the deeper stations yet it uses the waffle system, go figure.

Although Wheaton and Forest Glen (the two deepest stations), they do have the arch system.

  • wow both trains close the doors and depart at the same time
