  • LOVE THIS.

  • Good time in those days, nothing is going to beat that!

  • Yeah, on the vocal version (which I have on 12" GET IN!) the vocal is off a bit. But it sounds more special because of it. Classic tune is a classic tune. It worked at Bowlers with the audio; it'll do for me.

  • @ARUK1 Congress 40 exactly knew what he is doing with those things (the whole track building starts always at the same part of the piano loop), my favourite tracks born between 90 and 95

  • @ARUK1 ... This became the hallmark of underground music at the time & gave it that distinct... slightly out of tune, slightly out of time ruff & raw sound that you could instantly tell apart from the clean cut production of the commercial scene. Having said that Underground or Commercial the big corporates like EMI ... A&M masquerading under private labels fed both scenes ... A truly memorable classic era!!!

  • @nantocsem Lol, i know what you mean, but you have to remember there was no digital audio editing back then, that didn't come til 5 or 6 yrs later when PC's became fast enough to handle it, everything is laid down on old studio multi tape tracks. imagine the pain trying to get a drum loop to fit your vocal and piano lines, it was done by simply speeding up old 80's hiphop loops manually laying them into the track and putting a kick and a bassline under it to replace the lost bottom end...

  • brilliant.
