@TheGOMES37 if you move from canada to japan you fucking need to transport it! :D

@TheGOMES37 You have to realize that there are MANY disadvantages to laptops, so some people just feel better carrying around the power of a desktop, and since iMacs are all in one, it makes sense.

@nspflightcases I've traveled for years with the box that comes with the computer or monitor from Apple. It ends up pretty covered in tape but no airline has ever said they wouldn't accept it.

I heard Stephen Fry travels everywhere with his. Never leaves the country without it. I'm rather attached to mine too :)

@TheGOMES37 I've a question, why the fuck don't you use your brain? or shut the hell up? or go somewhere else? Why the fuck wouldn't this be made? a 27inch Imac exists. sometimes -It needs moved. Whether to fly your ass to a new home (i will in 3 mo's) or to a local gig (i gig with my imac even though i have a macbook!) or to a new site to work on a project. What are you going to tell those people??? "Isn't that why they invented laptops??? get a laptop" idiot.

@SpiderWoman14 - Cardboard isn't an ideal way of protecting your computer on a long term basis.... You will find it hard for an airline to accept it...
i have a question, why the fuck would anyone ever need to transport an iMac 27? i mean, isn't that why they invented laptops?

@TheGOMES37 - As it happens, it is our best selling product... You may want to ask the people who buy our cases why they need it rather then us. Many professional photographers, sound engineers and exhibitionist who travel across the globe require a protection for their computers during transport.
You maybe be thinking too small on the use of these computers and the industries that need them.

Does this case have any supports inside to keep the computer stabilized? And what about the hard drive? The imac doesn't have a Solid State Drive, so what is to keep that from screwing up during the flight? I don't even know how Apple manages to ship these beauties without that kind of damage.

@cryofom The hard drives have rubber mounts, plus our cases are shock absorbent, completely surrounded by protective industrial foam. Many of our customers use these cases on airlines.
