  • I always wondered why everyone is so hell bent on reviving the D'ni in the story?

Why didn't they think of starting over?

  • I like how the journals in this game are mercifully short. After Uru, I didn't think I could take another DRC report that lasted 3-4 videos. :P

  • damn! i had skipped all the previous journals for risk of spoilers, but i not this one! i really wanted to play Myst IV without spoilers!

  • @mercuraz They're actual books you can buy. Ti'ana, Atrus, and D'ni. I believe they're also collected in one large book titled "The Myst Reader".

  • "The Book of Atrus" and "The Book of Ti'ana". Are they actual novels or are they pieces of the journal from the previous Myst games? I keep hearing them but wonder what they are...

  • I have to say that I like that Cyan is acknowledging the stories of Myst III and IV in this game (to the point that they spoil Myst IV as a way of saying "You should have played Myst IV before you got this game"). It just shows that they might not have made those two games but they are still counting them as canon.

  • Those Baros seem to have some variety in the shapes and textures of their slates. =P
