An amazing, underrated film!

this film has a story line almost as good as the fallout 3.

@JackRussellTerrier2 Blindness certainly, but the other effects depend on how far away they are, and the length of exposure, which wasn't very long, since they entered a nuclear bomb shelter almost immediately. Much of Hollywood science is exaggerated for dramatic effect.

That said, the future when the boys leave the shelter is pure Hollywood lunacy, although it doesn't make this film any less enjoyable, and the music score is simply amazing.

Anyone who's seen "The Day After" would know that being outside, exposed to the blast and looking at it straight on would blind you, cause all your hair to fall out, then kill you.

1984 released in 14 December 1984 Radioactive Dreams released 19 September 1986 2 years later and twice shlttyer This is a wanna be 80's movie let's se more of the 80's Poltergeist released 1982 Poltergeist II: The Other Side 1986 Poltergeist III 1988 (kubrick's) The Shining 1980 Mad max 1979 Mad max 2 1982 Dune 1984 and the list can go on , like @ 80 names that everyone knows about them and hundreds unkown but twice as better than this one
