The Bluebell Railway's annual Branch Line Weekend, this year featuring BR Standard Class 2 No. 78019 as well as LMS Fairburn Tank No. 42085 on only its' second ever trip away from home. It's an important visit as not only were the Fairburn Tanks used in the Lewes - East Grinstead area, it's almost certain that 42085 ran on the Bluebell route in the early 1950s.
Also featured are:
- SECR C Class No. 592 pulling the Maunsell Set
- LBSCR A1 'Terrier' 672 Fenchurch on a short goods train then running brake van rides
- BR Standard Class 4 Tank No. 80151 double heading with 78019
Running, but not featured in this video is newly overhauled LBSCR E4 class No. B473 pulling the victorian set.
In light steam in the shed at Sheffield Park was P-Class No. 178 which has been recently restored, so recently in fact it was only finished late on Saturday night.
The rain poured much of the day so the quality and quantity of footage is quite low.
