on the ford website to upgrade the firmware it said to bring it into a dealer, I don't want to do that. why can't I use a flash drive and do it that way. I understand if you where going in and replacing any bit of hard ware but come on ford!!!

I don't like on sync that I can't control my ipod through the ipod itself, I understand it's a saftey feature most likely but hey If I have a passenger it's the most intuitive just you use the formilar UI

I'm currently employed at a ford-lincoln-mercury dealership as a service advisor-when the sync system was first introduced to me at an advisor meeting I thought my God-people driving now with a cell phone in there ear are not paying attention to the road the way it is and now they are going to have more bells and whistles that they know what to do with.The only drawback of this is the distraction from paying attention to the road.Isn't saftey more important???
