Easy Virtue - Trailer - In UK Cinemas 7th November

The twenties have roared... the thirties have yet to swing. John Whittaker, a young Englishman, falls madly in love with Larita, a sexy and glamorous American woman, and they marry impetuously. However when the couple returns to the family home, his mother Mrs Whittaker has an instant allergic reaction to her new daughter-in-law. Larita tries her best to fit in but fails to tiptoe through the minefield laid by her mother-in-law. Larita quickly realizes Mrs Whittaker's game and sees that she must fight back if she's not going to lose John. A battle of wits ensues and sparks soon fly. Mrs Whittaker manipulates every situation to undermine her, while Larita remains frustratingly calm and engineers sassy counter attacks. Before long, Mrs Whittaker's manipulation starts to work on John and Larita feels their love is in danger of slipping away. In a grand finale, where the secrets from Larita's past are revealed, she finally makes a break for freedom from the suffocating house...

Easy Virtue will be released in UK cinemas on 7th November by Pathe.

I've just watched the movie and it officially become one of my favorites<3It's really great and I loved Ben Barnes and Collin Firth in it.Actually I didn't expect that it'd be so good. I started watching it because of Ben but turned out that it's great.I'd like to recommend you all to watch it!!!It's very funny,doesn't have banal ending etc.

I feel blessed, as I think all we ladies should, that these two gorgeous men have starred in not one -- but two -- incredible movies together. If anyone has seen them in anything else (other than this and Dorian Gray) together, please tell me! :)

It's set in the 1930s and Ben Barnes' character gets married to an American woman without his parents ever meeting her. So he finally brings her round and his family decides that since she is American, she is horrible. This whole movie is about the family getting along with his wife, finding acceptance etc. etc.
