Babson College President Leonard A. Schlesinger speaks out on the controversy surrounding the higher education bubble. Says Schlesinger, "The expression higher education bubble, is an oversimplification of reality in a variety of ways." The diversity of sectors─private, public, for-profit─and how they are funded, the global jobs crisis, and list versus net price of a college education are just a few of the factors that need to be examined. "Please don't believe what you hear! We need to dig under the covers to understand the underlying dimensions of the realities."
