The Mu meter has undergone significant upgrades over the years......Why have the USAF bought 600 of them?
-
Mu = Co efficeint of Friction.
Also noted no Friction readings appearing on the Laptop?
Hope you remembered to remove the Jockey wheel assembly and retaining links !
(One has been there before!)

Nice Video however.
As someone who has used MK 4, 5, &6 as shown.
The two outer tyres measure the friction by one of them towing in which causes then to place load upon a load cell device, which sends a signal to the processor unit.
The Center wheel is used to sence speed and distance which when lowered causes the wheels to tow in wards for measurement.
The Laptop processor unit can be programmed to start and finsh Friction runs.

As an air traffic controller you will need to recognise aircraft, however for your interview you will be expected to know the different types of RAF aircraft, their roles and if possible the units they operate from. This information can be obtained from the aircraft booklet which the AFCO should have given to you. Hope that helps and good luck for the interview Im sure youll do fine J
