During our adoption trip in March. You can see the majority of buildings are apartments. Gives you an idea of the magnitute of people living here.

  • I will be going to GUANGZHOU are most apartments like these or worse?

  • y'know, I thought I posted a reply 2 u but 4 some reason it didn't stink. Most I saw were worse than these. These were the nicer ones I remember seeing. It's the same as anywhere else - if you can shell out some money you'll be able to find something decent. Have fun! Guangzhou is a cool place!

  • Thanks for your reply finch.

So this were the average ones?

Where is the economic boom everyone is talking about finch? ;(

  • oh it's there. you didn't see where they lived before, now did you? :) plus, not everyone's benefiting from the economy surge, same as would happen here (if we had an economic surge & we didn't outsource everything)

  • LOL,even my old house/apartment in China for 10k yen was better than this,we rented it to somebody a few yrs ago.

  • You're right.

And congrats on the new member of your family.

    :)

  • When I went to Guangzhou to adopt my daughter, I loved looking at each building and imagining what it was like to live in an apartment in China. I wanted to soak in as much of the culture as possible so I could relate it to my daughter some day.
