His phrasing, impeccable. He learned all of that with Tommy Dorsey late 30's, early 40's.
This appearance sounds like the Gordon Jenkins orchestra. Nowhere as good as the Nelson Riddle and Don Costa orchestrations & arrangements. My favorite Sinatra era was his early Hollywood years with Axel Stordahl from 1943-47
