@monobrow638 I can confirm 2 is enough, but having 3 would be REALLY nice in some spots.

I prefer Brad Smith's interpretation :P

If ya'll want to hear a good recording of this check out Austbø.

It might surprise you all to know that Walter Giesking's performance of this is more bombastic, has more impressive intonation with the inner voices, and seems more technically proficient (or ambitious) in some sections.

Why are people saying that this is proof that Scriabin was crazy? This piece is is beautiful, espiecially at 7:28
-
@monobrow638 About 3 and a half...

As if Scriabin shouted the passions of his being onto the staves and produced this purple marvel.

this here is proof, that Scriabin was insane. i think there are other pieces in his gnarly sweet repertoire that point in the same direction.

Thanks for the updated HQ score! This looks much better!
I have a question: I saw a mark/notation I don't recognize; for example, in bar 391, right before the third-from-last sixteenth note (it looks like an F-flat), to the left of the accidental flat (It kinda looks like an allen wrench...:) ), what is that mark for? (canya tell i've forgotten how to read music after 35 years not playing it?)

@bckm54 it tells you to play that note and notes following it with the left hand (because the stem of the sign points down, if it'd pointed up, like the one at the first f in the next bar, it means "play the note with the right hand" :) )

thanks a lot for posting! How come this has much less views than the old version?
