Another great Mel Kaufman tune, "Frisky" can be heard on a CD of a huge Wurlitzer model 34A PianOrchestra orchestrion, available from Chris Carlisle's Bandorganmusic website. The Wurlitzer roll arrangers really make that tune shine!
This (as well as "Yah-De-Dah") is another great Mel Kaufman tune... he really had a knack for writing simple yet catchy and interesting stuff that the early rag-jazz groups (and music roll arrangers) latched onto and filled out with abandon!
There's a great player piano roll of this tune, available on the Johnny Maddox LP "World's Greatest Piano Rolls Vol. 1" which turns up on Ebay from time to time.

Do you have the Frisco Jass band version of "Night Time in Little Italy"?
Thank you for sharing this great recording.
