Oct 4th will be my 5 month out of surgery date. I've lost almost 70 pounds but it has really been the hardest 5 months. All worth it in the end though.

I am getting my surgery on Sept 20th and I am thinking this is going to help me so much. 2 bsad knees and MS, so this girl needs this. I messed the knees up skiing. So then MS and I gained over 125 lbs. So I want to get back to my 165 and be happy. I am tall so I can be at 165.
you are awesome

Ppl shouldn't say the surgery is a cop out cause its not! I know 3 ppl that have had it and gained all the weight back cause after all that still not learned exercise & diet is key!

HI! Thanks so much for sharing your video. I am toiling with the decision to have gastric sleeve or bypass. I had the band removed a week ago and am hoping the best decision for me. I refuse to fail a second time. i had complications with the band, and didn't think it was worth keeping since I had minimal weight loss . What helped you choose to have the bypass as your option over all the other WLS options?

I'm so scared my surgery is in 2 weeks , I know I'm going to lose alot of hair but it looks like your hairs very thick and full how did you keep it that way?

I watched my ex go through this surgery and she did lose a ton of weight but not without consequences. First off, she forgot who loved her when she was heavy and basically tossed our family away. Secondly, and much more importantly is that it's been 7 years I believe and she has many medical problems which are directly related to this surgery. If you are super obese than I understand why you do it but if you can exercise it's a much better option. All the best. :)

Things really do change, my doctor doesn't even require a liquid diet. Just cant eat after midnight the night before surgery. He doesn't require weight loss prior to surgery but also doesn't want you to gain anything. I am certainly going to try to lose weight before it though, to shrink my liver and maximize results. Did you have hair loss?
