Three-part series charting the development of Britain's airports. Featuring the story of the Wildlife Control Coordinator who works at Manchester Airport scaring birds away from the runway.
There is a song off this episode of secret life of the airport I desperately have wanted to get hold of for a while now, but I cannot find it anywhere as I dont know the name of the band / artist. The song is not on this paticular clip, but it was on this episode. If anyone remembers a slow chilled out modern jazzy song on this episode and knows the name of the song please, please, please tell me what it is..The song is heard about half way through if my memory serves me correct........ Cheers.
no offence or anything but think about it how loud are a jets engines at take off answer very do you think you would be able to hear a bird noise. also they do not want birds in the air when a plane takes off. they do it before or after
maybe a scarecrow with mechanical engineering arms would be less costly and more effective? in strategic positions dotted all over the runway and flap there wings in unison! and salute the sun at the same time...brave birds though.

@danzinde
cause then the birds would be too close to it any way, and the noise of the engine is louder then the posobility that bird hear it.
