Hila will be performing selections from Thomas Ades's opera "The Tempest" this March with the Boston Symphony Orchestra. She was rehearsing the other day, and I just had to record it.

  • Got through half the video without realizing my laptop was muted. The link Eric Whitacre sent me was titled "My wife is an alien!" so, only seeing her mouth moving, I thought, "Yeah... she's kinda weird..." Hah. Oops.

    I saw the performance Saturday evening. It was quite a wonderful showing.

  • i just saw this performance like five hours ago....oh my GOODNESSSS!!! she is fantastic, i didn't believe until tonight that this was possible, i'd only heard stories...phenomenal job!
