When I was in Panama I belonged to the 193rd Inf BDE , A co. 1/508th Parachute Infantry Regiment at Ft.Kobbe Panama . That was a kick ass unit which I have very fond memories of my fellow Paratroopers . I love them more then the "Leg" units I was with in Iraq because they were not Paratroopers to begin with . They were seriously lacking in comraderie but I managed to complete all combat operations with them but they were not like the 1/508th Red Devils .

when Im shootin prone I hate my helmet for it becomes difficult to aim...maybe its my forearm but im workin on it....ya know mike I do competitve shootin to(cowboy action shooting) just as fun and just as expensive

Thanks for the comment, and glad to hear you're in the hobby. I am also a self-defense pistol instructor, and sweeping gets you kicked out of my class......

Airborne there brother ! The last time I had a good unit live fire excercise was Panama in 89 and Iraq in 2008 . Hurrah Airborne !

At least we know the en-bloc pinged out so there was no ammo in the M1!! Pushups for sure!!
