It's an ordinary house, and that's because most of the money he makes goes to providing grants to people who are wishing to adopt. You're right. I was wrong. Thanks. The album was released Oct. 2007. Just seems odd to honor something released 1.5 years ago. But he did tour and got a lot of attention with the tragedy, so I can see his nod.

Just to clarify...Cinderella came out before Maria's tragic death, not written to draw attention to the family or to make money off the tragedy. Also, the nomination was more than deserved. SCC WAS on tour, actually the hottest tour in Christian music this year. His album was released within the time limits of the nomination requirements. Those who are posting negative comments don't know the facts.

this is an amazing family that is a prime example of God's healing. i have to believe the appalling comments are from people who have not heard his music, because his words touch peoples lives more deeply than any artist i know. because of his incredible values his fans voted for him. he absolutely has been on tour, if you knew anything about him you know about the united tour. out of his daughters death he has created a home for orphans, NOT PROFIT HIMSELF. if you aren't a fan why comment?
