This song is a puzzle until you get then you don't know whether to laugh or cry. Magical piece of art and music. Hard to imagine anyone so admired to still be underrated...

This song is great lyrically and melodically, but I really love it for its musicianship. Drummers have a concept called independence, where limbs are separated to play different parts. In this performance, the vocals are smooth, soulful and precise and are subtlety but clearly separated from the busy piano. Tori is so great that it all appears to be seamless and easy for her. If you mixed out and only listened to the vocals, the whole song would feel completely different. Amazing.

I love this performance. I've always liked Concertina, but the synths in the studio version detract from the song, in my opinion. TVAB isn't my favorite album by far, but this live version could fit right in with the girls on UTP. Tori is at her best when it's just her and the Bose. Beautiful.
