  • @illeststyles They're two different exercises. Crunches are better for isolating your abs specifically. Situps will hit your abs a bit differently and they're useful in their own way.

  • @PokerRandomer so which is better? crunches or sit ups?

  • Thats a sit up when your back touches the pad, if you dont touch the pad and dont go all the way up thats called a crunch :)

  • is it necessary for your back to reach all the way to the bench. My back hurts when i do that

  • I let my back touch the "padding", it keeps the abs from being targeted mostly isometrically and you are sure that you get through the whole range of motion this way too

  • lol why is his back touching the padding? horrible form.
