Cape Hatteras Seashore "Get Involved"

Yes because my family lives in Buxton and there has never been any problems involving shorebird nesting and ORVs. Its just these stupid 'PETA' type people who probably never been there and want to ruin a long standing tradition of driving on the beaches of Hatteras.

yes it is so dramatic it has ruined vacations & has made the local economy go into a downward spiral. Many tourists say they shall not return if the closures remain in place. Dramatic indeed!!!

Why is there a arrowhead on the bottom right of them signs?? Hatteras is where my ancestors the Croatan, Secotan, and Mattamuskeet fished for many years, they are taking away a tradition that has been there since humans first touched that land. I have never even visited my ancestor's ancestrial land, I would really like 2 visit it, it would be a slap in my face if I finnally get to visit it and I see a sign with a arrowhead design that told me I could not step on my ancestor's ancestrial land.

Rats, mosquitoes and cockroach's have been here a lot longer than humans too but I don't see any body trying to protect them, or is that the so called ecologists next scam when they have milked all the donations the suckers will give for piping plovers.
