Large hospital bills may not be all that accurate. After insurance, hospitals may bill the balance to patients. Wyatt Andrews reports on these sometime illegal charges.

  • Hospitals can bill between $8,000 to $10,000 per week for their services whether or not they really do anything to help you. If the hospital charges $10,000 and you have insurance. The insurance company may crack down on the hospital billing department and only allow $800. However if you don't have insurance the hospital could really take advantage, being that all they do anyway is take blood pressure, give bllod tests and take standard medical vital signs.
