@MrCrasshole No I didn't paint in that cave; spray paint is 4 city walls etc. However some years ago we painted a memorial @ wounded knee in South Dakota where we used natural pigment & traditional paint making. We have refillable cans & when appropriate we use them. Paint can be made from many natural things from pollen to worms. Red oxide is used as a form of paint & data storage (vhs & beta) here is a link 2 some pix of murals:
