Here is one of thee fastest pallet repair man of the west coast region...
this man can hand repair well over 200 pallets in a single eight hour shift...
an average pallet weighs between 45lbs some chemical handling pallets called drum
pallets can weigh up to 100lbs,,PPI handles both types of pallets on a regular basis..
if you do the math thats a lot of weight handled on an average day...despite that every
pallet is hand tossed and inspected on all six sides : front & Back, left & right side, top & bottom
before getting stacked in stacks of 20 and taken to another process called the sorting area
where the pallets are inspected a second time
for quality all pallets that do not meet standards are returned to the stacker ...
all others will be ready for delivery.

  • Ok i agree the Bostich is a great gun for this job but as for the speed of this guy his repairing skills and the quality of the repaired product... Comon, im in the industry and where i work the target is 600 per shift per person and 150 repaired bearers as well

  • Yea we call him panda man beacuse his reflexes are slow just like a panda bear...600 pallets good number... what do you mean bearers?

  • this guy sucks , I could have done three chep U.S. bloc pallets to his one LMAO !!!

  • Yea i know. Well its different from repairing a standard size pallets than making an odd size pallet standard...here in california the market is open for more than 50 different sizes ...not just chep pallets... PLUS no one likes chep around here...they are ripp offs ....

  • Is this guy repairing or rebuilding the pallet? Where I work our repair man does 350+ in eight hours. That's with up to 3 boards and block repairs. Screw a bunch of Cheps...

  • ManMan this is going slow, I have found in my box repairing pallets. I do this all of my 19 years ... I have made my hobby so I work faster. hahaha

  • ouch thats scary how he is using the nail gun.

  • i take it he gets paid by the hour and not by pallet.
