I saw this car at an estate sale for $4000...out of my budget though! I like the fact that it is completely original, even the paint. I didn't get to start it up but they said it runs fine.

  • It doesn't look as though it had been driven in a long while. How did they keep it from rusting? Except for the dust, it looked to be in almost pristine condition.

  • @FromUR2UB There is no salt used on roads around here and it hardly ever snows so we don't have the rust problems from salt.

  • i have a 54 its a black sport coupe the paint isnt orginal but its all there it has a corvette offenhauser intake manifold for a 54 blue flame six a 3 single barrel setup the stock manifold is in a container IS THIS CAR STILL FOR SALE!!!

  • No, this car is not for sale any more, it was bought by SouthJK.

  • does it run?

  • Yes, they said it did and it looks in fully functional capacity, even with a new 6-volt battery. I know I couldn't afford to buy it so I didn't bother the seller with trying to start it up or drive it.

  • same situation here. Im 16 and im working my butt off this summer for a 54 chevy bel air in blue for $4000 it runs fine. Im sick of all the guys driving around my school with 94 corollas thinking their hot sh*t.

  • I love seeing the faces on other guys at school w/ corollas and or civics when I pull up in my mint Satellite. ;)

  • why is it that the older cars like this one look so much better than todays cars?

  • I love how the car looks. It is absolutely beautiful. However, It looks like a standard transmission and no doubt, NO power steering. I would love to ride around in that but I sure would not care to drive it a whole lot and NO WAY would I want to parallel park that.

  • @tripjet999 4,000 Is a great deal on that car.

  • $4,000? I wouldn'y have paid $40!

  • man,i can't wipe the stupid grin off my face while i watch this video...that car is sweet!!

  • It looks pretty solid. I couldn't afford it if my life depended on it. I do like the interior.

  • it's worth 4000 no question BUY IT !

  • My dad's first car was a brown one of these.

  • "they started making them in the 50s"??? hahaha i really hope shes talking about bel airs and not chevys in general

  • @BadmanRecords it costs me about 30 bucks to fill up my 51 pontiac straight 8 and it lasts for about three days as a daily driver!
