The other problem would be with the 6th premise, which says that God wouldn't ensoul a fetus that is going to be aborted. This is based on the premise that people who don't get christ's redemption go to hell, but that is only when the recieve original sin which many argue happens at birth (I know, it's a sin to be born, it's ridiculous, but what can you do). So, all fetuses would have never sinned and would go to heaven. So the act wouldn't necessarily be cruel.

I know this is old, but I think I might also have a problem with argument number 5 (that I'm sure someone mentioned, but I didn't see), and I suppose it stems from argument number 3. Most people describe god as perfectly moral rather than perfectly good. So, the most moral decision, they might advocate, would be to allow humans to maintain free will. I don't like it but they might claim it.

Problem with premise 5: God does not ensoul the fetus, it is the logical consequence in the order he created. A consequence that follows from the people having sex, thus those people have to take responsibility for it, the ensouled fetus.
It's a wild guess what a christian might use as the objection. The burden of a contradictory mind...

Premise three is God is all god. i agree with that, all parts of god are in fact god

Pt. 1 - While I do agree with you, I have to point out that the obvious Christian response would be to say that the fetus does have a soul and that the soul goes to heaven after it's aborted. If we say that murder is killing something that has a soul, then it would be murder. However, most Christians would say that this life is nothing compared to heaven and that would lead us to conclude that it's not such a bad thing to abort a fetus since we would be sending it to heaven.

@a7xmetalhead16 But if god knows everything, and your statement is true, then why punish atheists for not believing? He knew all along we would not believe, so why are foetuses pardoned and atheists condemned?
YOU ARE GOING TO USE THIS ARGUMENT AGAINST A WELL VERSED *CHRISTIAN* DEBATER, THEN YOU ARE IN *HUGE TROUBLE.* *BEGINNING FROM 5, THE ARGUMENT IS DOWN HILL! SECOND, I WOULD BE THE FIRST TO INTRODUCE MY RESPONSE USING *ARGUMENTUM AD HOMINEM* JUST BECAUSE THIS LOGIC STRUCTURE IS WEAK AND ANNOYING. WHAT SCARED ME IS THAT I'M A STUDENT AND WE HAVE A PROFESSOR STRINGING ARGUMENTS LIKE THIS? HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO LEARN!?

@JolieEnCristo Allow me to humbly recommend that you start by learning where the caps lock key is.

@SisyphusRedeemed : thank you. Jolie=beautiful En=in Cristo:Christ (in Spanish) - Caps Lock used to divide 3 words with 3 different meanings.

@JolieEnCristo You don't use caps locks to capitalize the first letter of your three names (you use shift to capitalize individual letters.) I was referring to your post, in which every letter was capitalized, which makes your message seem desperate and pathetic.

If I feel like I WANT to cap my screen name the way I want, then THAT'S WHAT I'LL DO!!
You call yourself a teacher? your arguments are PATHETIC! we literally tore them a new A-HOLE in logic last semester! that's why I was on your PATHETIC video! we had to find PATHETIC arguments, like yours! and discuss them! Your "correcting" my use on an INFORMAL use of a screen name? are you INSANE!? what are you like 45? your arguing with a 15 year old Genius!

@JolieEnCristo Oh, I'm not arguing with you. I'm mocking you. Didn't they teach you the difference in your 'logic' class?
