  • what a great actor

  • Isn't it great the way he just seems to be a genuinely happy and funny person? Must've been quite a treasure to work with Don. Must be tough for Andy since his passing - as I understood they were really great friends in real life.

  • His *Shakiest Gun In The West* is still my all-time favorite movie of his...

  • ive got every single Andy episode he did and every movie he ever made;and i watch them now and then when ii need a smile.Don isnt appreciated by most it seems. When i say The Don is the funniest guy..you have NO idea;in the way he fine tuned the shy insecure guy who was a know it all and an expert on EVERYTHING.. LOL.. c'mon .. he knew what he looked like and played it to the MAX( the LOVE God??LOL).. i LOVED the guy because underneath it all he made his characters LOVABLE above all.R.I.P friend

  • In my opinion, this man is the undisputed KING of comedy. R.I.P. Don Knotts.

  • Rest in peace man. You were great!

  • I love this man.

  • Part of Don's character and charisma was simply his voice. Anyone remember "The Incredible Mr. Limpet"????? He played dual roles, as a human and as a cartoon character, and his voice alone carried the whole movie. He used to take phonecalls from the rock station I announced for in the mid 90's!!! What a legend!!! Thank you for this post!!!!

  • Anyone remembers the small part he had in "No Time For Sergeants" ? Very funny part!

  • The Ghost and Mr. Chicken cracked me up. I can still hear the organ sound.
