@Fender1976uk Because we have to live in a world with a bunch of retards who DO believe in god(s) and do a lot of horrible things because of that belief. Think about it.

Remember this before jumping to that conclusion: at the heart of every religion is a sacred space where man talks to God/s or Ultimate Mysteries. Be sure to recognize this, try speaking to that mystery yourself! :-)

Eye For An Eye ultimized as Justice by the Godhead? What rubbish! This idea of Eternal Torment for the wicked is unspiritual. One could almost call Christianity a wholly unspiritual pseudo-religion until one looks at Islam. Then we see what a real fake religion looks like!

@bishop8000 Christianity, Islam and Judaism are obsessed with avoiding the mind-expanding powers of transcendent meditation, ascending to nirvana, liberating power of nudity, mind-expanding plants, and sacredness of sex and the diversity of the same. Polygomy, Polyamory, Group Relations are fine by the Cosmos but not by the little Christian's puny godlet. Hence a conspicuously fake religion like the rest of these monotheisms with which level headed people are assailed. Monotheists Worship Satan.
