Testing out Flash 10.1 Beta 2 released today. Didn't notice any diff at first but at the end of the video power usage dropped from 70-80% (same as Beta 1) to 40%-50%.

  • well it's 2011 and nowadays hd runs smooth even on phones

  • so even with the one core atom and ion its all good to run the web with hd video etc,id get a dual core atom tho, very cheap nowdays

  • @gamer1337omg Just forget it...you dont know what i meant anyways

  • @gamer1337omg if its on the Atom it is

  • @gamer1337omg its called Hyper treading ...

  • I just ordered one. That video smoothness is related with gpu more likely. But i think this device performs good overall.

  • hey man. i need some help i got the packard bell new version here in the uk because acer are the same group. anyway its still playing slideshow in hd on ion chipset. how do i enable hardware. accelaration please help. and my windows. rating is 2.2 write back thanks m8.

  • I find with Flash10.1 my CPU is still heavily hit while the video is loading up. As soon as the loading bar finishes it drops significantly! As in your case. It seemed that as soon as your video loading was interrupted, about half way through, the cpu usage dropped. My 2cents. 10.1 sure does help!
