I switched the war rock sound files with some custom ones and this is what it turned into :D
This is just a test phase, I'll be editing more and more sounds.

I'm not ripping the guy from Half-Life 2 off. I already had the idea in my head, and after I saw his video he motivated me to actually try it out. Thank you Half-Life guy :P.

  • Where on google did u find your sounds? Did you type in google: (Ex: Train?) or on a website? like findsounds but on Findsounds i don't know how to import the file :/ .

  • @jeanpWnall999

I believe I mostly made use of the site freesound org

  • Hey Poehalcho, I tried to do this but when i am in game, my gun do no sound =/

The sound i put its a ; Beep! ( 1 sec) and i hear nothing. Help me if u can.

  • @jeanpWnall999

    1. did you put your new file in the right directory

    2. have you turned your file into a .wav? you can't just rename it, you'll need to use something like audacity to transform it. (I'm sorry if my previous instructions were unclear. when I said rename it I meant to give the file the same name as the previous, not to rename the extension -.-)

    3. I got my sounds from all kinds of sound databases I could find with google ^^.

good luck, and show me what you've made!

  • how did u do this and do u think it would be possible to change the way my weapon looks??? :P plzz answear thx

  • changing the sounds is easy as pi :P.

just go to you WR sound directory. switch a sound file and rename it. that's really all there is to it. changing weapon looks is possible, but you'll need to edit texture files. I'm not really familiar with doing that so you'll need ask someone else. try asking here: /watch?v=KW3P5KiU5Ws

  • @jeanpWnall999 Sometimes you don't have to put .wav after the sound that you have downloaded For Example... I did this and noticed that they didn't work and I had renamed them as WR_fire.wav but they still didn't work so then I tried renaming it WR_fire and then it worked. It just depends on the operating system or file.

  • Or where do you find ur sounds??? Help me

  • ok thx ;D

  • LOL DUDE HAHAH
