Danica Patrick Last 10 Laps at Indy 2009 (In Car)

no idea who this woman is, but someone was touting her for USF1 which made me laugh. the fact that a woman can race in IRL just shows how undemanding the sport is. I doubt she could do 10 laps in a formula one car before her neck gives, and at nowhere near optimal speed. It's just too competitive for a woman. USF1 will have to beg for a european driver if they want to have any success next year.

The whole idea of the USF1 team is for it to be completely American...that includes the driver! No European drivers on this team!

Listen how flat the revs are...this IRL package sucks..bring back turbos, 900 hp, take the aero crap away, and let the brave drivers have at it like it used to be

being in an open cockpit car like this at this track especially going 225 mph must be such and amazing feeling!

She had the speed to pass him , but she didn't use it .. it takes nerve to keep the foot down hard when you lose some aerodynamic downforce through the turns when following closely , but thats what you gotta do if you're going to use the draft to its maximum benefit

I bet she would have completed the pass with Push2Pass (although Wheldon probably would have used it too)

usually if the person on the outside has at least a nose, the guy on the inside will breath the throttle, but wheldon wasnt going to give up that spot that late in the race, it was 50/50
