In this part of the series I show you how to add the swords to the miniature. I give you some nice tips and hints. In the next video this series ends, we prime, paint and seal the woman warrior.

  • Can you make a sculpey base, should I make a round base with it and cook it attacked to the mini or just use something else for a base? Im a bit clueless to what to use for a base. I wanna print off my owe labels to add power and defense and attack it to the bottom of the base.

  • @Darkvirtue9 Sure, you can make a sculpey base. Just make a few bases and bake em. but you will have to drill holes for the leg wires. or use an epoxy glue to attach the figure. Me? I just use the procreate to make bases, no worries about baking and I attach the base to the figure and let it dry.

  • when i finish the miniature, how can i make a base to put it in without messing the whole miniature up?!??! most times, i work on corks, but when i want to put the miniature on a base, some parts fall down, some other parts are overpressed and look s*it..... what do you suggest me?

  • @JONIMASAKIS Let the miniature dry completely before attempting to attach to a base. Then cut the armature so the mini has just two small prongs sticking out its feet. Press these gently into your newly made, and still soft base. Once it's dried apply a drop of a good glue to the underneath of the base to keep it locked in. Let me know how it goes. Adding a base can be tricky!

  • @JONIMASAKIS A good technique is to bend the two wires from the legs into "L" shapes then push them down into the base and let it dry. When it dries, because of the L shape the figure will be locked into the base quite nicely.

  • hey will great video you got here but i would like to ask, does the childrens clay harden to? pls reply asap thanks and more power

  • Thanks! The childrens clay doesnt harden. Its just for practice. The clay I use in this installment is called "ProCreate" it hardens very hard and can be drilled and sanded.

  • @epicfantasy Will, in my country theres absolutely no way to get procreate or sculpey, so i use clay, is there any possible way to make a mold out of it without it deforming.

  • ok cool i attached the base and baked but it came out not perfect hehe. Im not sure i could be quick enough to use what you have or even know where to find it. I guess I could always make a sculpey base seperate and bake it then

  • i respect you alot!!!!!

  • Glad to have helped hun ^_^

  • Oh! Thanks!
