Had an MG ZS which got written off by a Pratt in an MX-5 :( Loved it to bits, similar sound from that to this (mine was 1.6)
One thing though. Should NEVER rev the car like that from cold. On any car. Thats what causes headgasket problems (not common on the 1.4). K series can be fragile :/

@Aaron2K7 I know its probably too late for advice but ive got a 160vvc MG TF and its a really quick little motor, not as tappety as the non vvc's either ;0)

hey there am debating on getting one of these as its within my price range, just wondering are they quick cars? i was lpooking at the 160 vvc but its to expensice to insure atm would appreciate some input cheers ;D

i got exactly the same car on a 53 plate and once you stick a filter on em they sound sweet as fukk. really nice car to drive aswel =]

im getting a zr 105 next week just wondering what back box would b good on it and is the induction kit easily fit ?

Induction kit on mine was a little tight, nothing a bit of boiling water didnt fix to soften the pipe a little.
I hear the MG 160 standard Back Box (twin pipe) is tastey sounding. and a direct replacement ;)
