I love the message in this song. Plus, his voice reminds me of our neighbor's father who passed on who had a similar voice to jim reeves. he used to play a guitar back in kisumu, western kenya and this song brings tears to my eyes everytime i listen to it. still, it reminds me of some of the best days of my childhood life. life is a teacher, the more we live, the more we learn
@thandila This song I remember so many years ago. It is teaching us that we do not need a crystal cathedral or a traditional church to pray and to worship Him in. The farmer in the field is a prime example of a place of worship created (not built) by God's own hand.
I remember this song with alot of nostalgia during our trips home to western kenya during the christmas season. We had this peugeot that our father would drive the whole family and this song along other christmas songs played as we journeyed home. Those indeed were some of the best days of my life and ones that i would treasure for the rest of my life.
